Working group
Live Herring -workgroup aims to bring net art more visible and to get people to know net art more closely by producing and organizing workshops and exhibitions (expecially screenings), developes new ways to show net art and seeks for new venues for net art.
Live Herring work group started working by organizing the Live Herring Nordic Net Art event in 2005 and the second event was organized the very next year 2006. In 2007 the Live Herring work group will continue it’s work by organizing open-to-all workshops (for example workshop Bazaar of Banalities of media artist Outi Kotala) and organizing art- and media lectures. But exhibition work is not forgotten: in 2008 there will be Live Herring net art exhibition in Jyväskylä art museum.
