Live Herring

In Live Herring ´08 –exhibition there is going to be screen for Flash and other digital animation. For that Live Herring is still looking for art works of digital animation even the official open call for submissions is closed. As a part of the exhibition there will be also short screenings of media art from the window of Jyväskylä Art Museum to the Kauppakatu (one of the main streets of the city). Short animations (max. 5 min) might also be shown in these screenings.

• products of your imagination

Send you work for Flash lounge and screenings by email to info@liveherring.org with the title “screening submission 2008″. Include into email your personal information and title, technique and year of the work. If the size of your work is more than 20 MB, please send it to us on CD or on DVD by snailmail with the information mentioned above to address

Closing date of the open call for submission of digital animation is October 20, 2008.

There is no charge in taking part to the Live Herring ´08 Net dot lounge and/or Flash lounge project. Also, there are no fees to be paid of exhibiting/screening of the material during the Live Herring ‘08 exhibition. The material will not be used to commercial purposes.
