Artist Antti Laitinen realized his Walk the Line -project in city of Jyväskylä as online live performance. He walked his portrait with the help of a satellite recorder (GPS) according a map of the city. It was possible to follow performance in live in internet. Antti walked all together 28,6 km and it took him 4 hours and 50 minutes! You can view completed portrait here.

He will now print these images: the actual map with the picture and the drawing of the path that he has walked. The printed portraits will be revealed at the opening of the exhibition on Wednesday October 29th at 6 p.m. at Jyväskylä Art Museum, Holvi (Kauppaktu 23). Welcome! In the Live Herring ´08 exhibition, several previous portraits will be exhibited in addition to the portrait realized in Jyväskylä.
